Pocket Aurora Papers

Keep home, work and school documents apart without folders

One archive for everything is easy to fill and tiring to look through. A few separate spaces fix that without bringing folders back.

Pocket Aurora Papers is in development and not in the App Store yet.

Why one big list gets tiring

Searching by words removes the need for folders, but scrolling through the latest documents still mixes a payslip with a school trip form and a client contract. The problem is not finding a document; it is seeing only the ones that belong together.

Spaces, not folders

A space is one level, chosen once when a document comes in: Personal, Work, School, or one you name. It never nests, and a document is in one space only, so there is nothing to file deeper and nothing to lose.

How Pocket Aurora Papers does it

Switch spaces from the Archive's title. Search, To pay and everything else follow the space you are in, and All documents shows them together. Papers can ask which space a new scan, import or shared file goes into, or file it in the current one. Spaces are optional: someone who does not use them never sees the switcher. Spaces sort your documents; they do not hide one space from someone who can open the app.
